- Provide assistance to teachers, students, and parents in stress management.
- Advocate respect for the mind, the body, and the laws relating to alcohol, drugs, violence, and criminal behavior.
- Uphold a philosophy of extracurricular activities which effects reasonable consistency in supporting the goals of learning and student health and welfare.

- Achieve an appropriate balance between financial stability and meeting student needs.
- Complete the bond program and maximize the use of facilities to benefit students and the community.
- Coordinate non-tax revenues such as Parent Teacher Organizations, Alamo Heights School Foundation, Support Groups, grants, and other sources to maximize student benefits.
