School Board President Steve Pritchard presents the Faye Langley Cowden Chair award to 4th grade teacher Jimmie Lynn Walker. The chair, established through the Alamo Heights School Foundation, recognizes outstanding teaching and encourages better education for young students. It includes paying a portion of the teacher's salary, providing a stipend to the teacher, and providing a small fund to the teacher for innovative classroom activities. |
