Alamo Heights Tennis is a nationally renowned tennis program and is one of the most storied athletic programs in Texas Sports History. Coach Larry Oxford and Assistant Coach Haley Brooks lead the Mules.

Alamo Heights has been to and won more state championships than any other tennis program in the State of Texas. Numerous players have gone on to play collegiate and professional tennis. Alamo Heights won State Team Tennis titles in 1973, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2002. Alamo Heights is the only High School to win 4 consecutive state champions doing this from 1993-1996 and finished undefeated in 1996 against both 4A and 5A competition.
