March 27 – UIL Concert & Sight Reading Competition at Judson P.A.C. We perform at 3:20 p.m. in concert and then at 3:40 p.m. in sight reading. The public is invited and encouraged to come listen.

March 31 – Choir Garage/Rummage Sale – Start saving your special “stuff.” (More on this
event at this site soon)

• Alamo Heights High School Choirs have been invited to perform at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The choir will present a short concert in the rotunda of the American Pavilion located in Epcot. In addition the singers will participate in a Disney Sings workshop which will be lead by one of Disney's professional entertainers. The trip is scheduled for April 25-30.
• The School Board has approved the hiring of a full time choir director for the Junior School. This will enable our choral program to continue to grow in both numbers and quality. Applications are currently being sought for this position and interviews have begun. Hopefully the additional director will be named before the end of the school year.
• Our first ever UIL Choir Clinic is set for Thursday evening, March 8, in the choir room. Dr. MacPherson, Director of Choral Activities at Trinity University, will critique our performance and make suggestions that will help us improve our concert program for our upcoming UIL competition.
