Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball Team on winning the area round of the state baseball playoffs. They eliminated Marble Falls in a 2 game sweep over the weekend and now move on to the Regional Quarter-finals against Boerne Champion. The best of 3 series will begin on Friday @ 7:30 at the SAISD Sports Complex. Game 2 will be on Saturday @ 1:00 and if necessary Game 3 will follow 30 minutes later. Go Mules!!!
Two of our graduating seniors have been invited to play in prestigious all-star games this spring. For more TABC All-Star Game info, click here. Come out and support your Mules!
- Jeffrey Rodewald and Shelby Lane have been selected to play in the Lone Star 4A All-Star Game. It will take place on Saturday, April 14 at 5:00 pm at SAISD's Alamo Convocation Center.
- Jeffrey Rodewald will also play in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star Game on Friday, May 18 at 7:45. The TABC All-Star game will be played at Trinity University.
Golf tryouts for next year have been set. They will be on August 14-15 on the Fort Sam Houston Golf Course beginning at 1 pm each day. Anybody interested in trying out MUST sign up in advance with Coach Hayes. A student will not be allowed to be place in the golf athletic period without trying out. They may signing up by contacting Coach Hayes at 210-317-8988 or email to dhayes@ahisd.net.
