  • Attention Seniors: Cap and Gowns that were not picked up on Thursday are in the Principal’s Office. Please come by and pick them up as soon as you can.  If you have not ordered your Cap & Gown, you must do so immediately. Students must have a cap and gown in order to participate at graduation ceremonies. Order forms are still available in the Principal’s Office. 
  • Attention Seniors: Please stop by the Guidance Office as soon as possible and tell Mrs. Timmons your plans for next year or where to send your final transcript.  Preparations are being made now for the final mailing. If you would like a copy of your FINAL transcript mailed home for your personal records or for rush, you need to bring a stamped self-addressed envelope to Mrs. Timmons.  Be sure to tell her it is for the FINAL transcript. Final transcripts for Dual Credit hours earned at San Antonio College will be hand delivered to SAC by June 13.  After June 27, those students in Dual Credit courses may contact SAC to have their San Antonio College Transcript sent on to their new college. 
  • Attention all students: All Library books must be returned to the library by May 15th. Library fines can be paid now before 8:00 a.m. or after AP exams finish in the afternoon.
  • Attention all students: If you have lost your school ID, you can avoid the long lines and get your ID replaced between May 19th and May 30th in the library. You will need a school ID to register for your fall classes. Replacement costs are $5.00.
  • Heights Help is open this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m.
  • ATTENTION SENIORS: FINAL CALL for Scholarships. All scholarship offers must be turned in to Mrs. Elam in the Guidance Office by Monday, May 12. The Guidance Office needs a copy of any scholarship offer received even if you do not plan to accept the scholarship. Accepted scholarships will be listed in the graduation program if received by Monday, May 12.
  • Attention all AP Test Takers: Due to the College Board regulations, all students must be in their designated exam room at 8:00 a.m. for morning exams and at 12:00 noon for afternoon exams. No student is permitted to enter the exam room once the timing of the exam has begun. Students are permitted to bring only a pen, pencil and when necessary a calculator to the exam. Cell phones and electronic devices are prohibited in the exam room. Due to time constraints, all students who are taking two exams on the same day or have an afternoon exam must bring a lunch. There will not be time to leave campus. It is the student’s responsibility to report to the designated exam room at the appropriate time.
  • Attention all Los Amigos members: Applications for next year’s officer positions can be found outside Sra. Marshburn’s room, 152S. All Applications must be turned in by 3:45 on Friday, May 14.
  • Do you want to do something fun? Do you want to help our troops around the world? Then bring your old cell phones to the library and donate them for the Cell Phones for Troops Program!
  • Seniors!  All males 18 through 25 years of age, including undocumented immigrants, MUST register with the Selective Service System within 30 days of your 18th birthday. If you have not yet registered, you may register online at www.sss.gov or pick up the forms at your nearest post office.  Failure to register will affect your eligibility for scholarships and financial aid for college next year and could also lead to fine or imprisonment.
