Breaking the Silence (1)

Breaking the Silence
Image of Heart of Heights logoAll parents can appreciate the importance of being able to accurately identify suicide warning signs in their child or teen.  We all hope that we will never need to use such skills, but being prepared and aware is essential.  Knowing what to look for, what to do and what to say could save the life of:

•  Your own child
•  The child of your friend
•  Your child's friend
•  A relative
•  Any other child that is in your life

Sometimes even more challenging than knowing the warning signs can be finding the right words to talk with our children and teens about suicide.

Please join our parent community to talk about ways we can support our children and teenagers.  We want this to be a comfortable event, so please feel free to bring your lunch.  We will have tea and water available.
