Menus

Menus for Alamo Heights ISD are designed locally through the Food Service Department’s Menu Committee, surveys and our Student Nutritional Advisory Committee (SNAC).  All menu items are analyzed for nutritional content by Nutrikids Nutrient Analysis software.  Menu items are analyzed for calories, sodium, fat, saturated fat, trans fats, cholesterol, carbohydrates and Vitamins A and C.

ARAMARK Education and Alamo Heights I.S.D. are devoted to providing the students, faculty, administration and community visitors with the most wholesome, nutritious meal available.

Elementary Menus

For breakfast, our Elementary menus offer two entrees and three to five sides dishes with the option to select or decline milk.   For lunch, four entrees, including fresh salads and baked potatoes, are offered along with a combination of six to ten side dishes and the option to select or decline milk.  In order for students to complete the USDA meal matrix, they must choose an entree and a minimum of two or a maximum of three side offerings from the daily menu.  Milk may be selected or declined by the student.
