Alamo Heights ISD has a very attractive salary and benefits package reflective of the district and community’s belief that people are the strength of the district. To see the actual salary schedules for incoming employees.
Teacher salary ranges for 187 day employees are:
Bachelor’s Degree
  $46,600-$66,780
Master’s Degree
  $47,920-$72,030
Doctorate Degree
  $50,180-$74,650
One of the main benefits of the salary schedule is that there are fewer steps between the minimum and maximum salaries (only 22 steps for Bachelor’s Degree). This means that each salary step is larger than in most districts where it may take 30+ years to reach the maximum. This allows employees to advance to the maximum salary much sooner than in other districts and is a tremendous benefit to employees, especially those who stay in the district for multiple years.
 
All salaries in the district are indexed off of the teacher salary schedule. Therefore, all non-teaching employees receive the same percentage raise as teachers.
