David Hornberger

David D. Hornberger was first elected to the AHISD Board of Trustees in  2016 and volunteers extensively with Alamo Heights schools. He served as  Board President for the 2020-2021 school year and has also previously held  the positions of assistant secretary, secretary, and vice president. 

Over the years, Hornberger has served on the District Education Advisory Committee, volunteered with the AH Business Incubator since its inception, launched and continues to coach the AH 7on7 Football summer program, served as an ex-officio director to the AH School Foundation, and established and led a bible study for AHHS athletes.

Professionally, Hornberger is a principal with Glass Wealth Management Co., LLC, an investment advisor firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He graduated from The University of Texas School of Law and from Rice University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and lettered in football. Prior to attending law school, Hornberger was employed full-time by AHISD and worked closely with Coach Gaylard Fenley. He and his wife, Catherine, are both proud supporters of Texas public schools, and their six children will follow in their footsteps in attending AHISD from kindergarten through high school.

Brian C. Hamilton was initially elected to the Board of Trustees in 2018  and was re-elected to the Board in 2022. Hamilton currently serves as the  President of the Board of Trustees for the 2022-23 school year.

Hamilton is a native of the Dallas area and graduated from Mesquite Poteet High School in 1995. In 1999, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station. In 2002, Hamilton earned a law degree with honors from The University of Texas in Austin.

Hamilton began his professional career as a litigation attorney with an Am Law 100 firm in Dallas. In 2005, he and his wife, Hilary, moved to San Antonio where he joined the law firm of Pipkin, Oliver & Bradley, LLP. He eventually moved to Zachry Holdings, Inc., where he spent twelve years as an in-house attorney. Hamilton  is currently the Chief Operating Officer of American Roofing & Metal Co., Inc., a local family-owned commercial and residential roofing contractor. Hamilton and his wife have two children, both of whom attend (and have attended since kindergarten) Alamo Heights ISD schools. Hilary is a 1994 graduate of Alamo Heights High School.

Hamilton previously served for six years on the board of the Alamo Heights School Foundation and was President of that board in 2017-2018. He has also served on the board of the Alamo Heights Little League and has volunteered with the San Antonio Livestock Exposition.

Ty EdwardsTy Edwards | Trustee | [email protected]

Ty Edwards graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and has been in the investment business for over 30 years. He and his wife, Colette, have been married for 25 years and have two boys: Payton, a graduate from Alamo Heights and Bentley, a Senior at Alamo Heights High School.

Committed to education, Ty served on the Alamo Heights School Foundation Board, Alamo Heights District Education Advisory Committee (DEAC), the DoSeum Board, St. Luke’s Episcopal School Board, and Texas Lyceum.  He currently serves on the San Antonio Public Library Foundation Board. Outside of his community service, Ty enjoys running, traveling, and reading.

Stacy Sharp

Stacy Sharp was sworn in as trustee in May 2020 and currently serves as  Vice-President. She has also served on the Board’s Legislative, Budget, and  Audit committees, among others. She sat on the District Education Advisory  Council from 2018 to 2020, and previously served as Board liaison to Howard ECC and Woodridge Elementary. Sharp has also volunteered with the District’s PTOs, including serving on Howard’s PTO Executive Committee in 2016–17. 

A former middle and high school teacher, Sharp taught in rural Honduras, New York City, and Austin ISD before attending law school. For the past fifteen years, she has practiced law in San Antonio and Austin. She is a civil appellate attorney and adjunct professor of litigation writing for The University of Texas School of Law.

Sharp is an AHHS alumna and graduate of Vanderbilt University. She has been married for 19 years to her husband Nathan, who is co-founder of Marcado Asset Management and President of the Woodridge Dads’ Club. Their son attends AHJS and their two daughters attend Woodridge. The Sharps have also served as a foster family for young children who were removed from their homes for abuse or neglect. They attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church and enjoy hiking, cooking, and long road trips.

Clay Page

Current Term: 2021-2024

Clay Page was first elected to the board in 2021.  He currently serves as  Assistant Secretary on the Board. He also serves on the Building and Goals  & Priority committees.  

Page is a San Antonio native and graduated from Churchill High School. In 1996 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. He moved to Houston following graduation and eventually met his wife, Laura. They were married in 2002. In 2004, they made their way back to San Antonio and currently reside in Alamo Heights.  

Page currently serves as President and Owner of R.C. Page Construction. He started the company in 2013.  He and his wife have two daughters, Darden Page (Class of 2023 AHHS) & Josephine Page (Class of 2025 AHHS). His hobbies include fishing, golf, family time, and watching the Aggies play football.   

The Pages are active members of First Presbyterian Church. He currently serves as Elder and his wife serves as Deacon.

Lisa Krenger

Current Term: 2021-2024

Lisa Krenger, an active PT(S)O and community volunteer, was elected to  the Board of Trustees in 2015. She currently serves as Board Secretary and  as a member of the Building and Policy committees.

Krenger graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in    Psychology and Biochemistry. She enrolled at The University of Texas in Austin the following fall where she earned her master's degree in Business Administration and met her husband. Krenger then moved to Dallas where she worked as a consultant for Accenture in the Change Management department. 

After moving to San Antonio, Krenger worked as an independent contractor for Accenture until leaving the industry to raise her family. She currently owns and operates MK Consulting, a college admissions consulting company.

Krenger and her husband Mark have two daughters and a son who all graduated from Alamo Heights High School and The University of Texas at Austin.

Carey Hildbrand

Carey Hildebrand, born and raised in the great city of San Antonio, was  elected to the Board of Trustees in 2021. She currently serves on the Audit,  Legislative, and Budget committees and is the Board’s liaison to the District  Education Advisory Committee (DEAC).

Hildebrand is a San Antonio native and an Alamo Heights graduate. In 2002, she earned a bachelor’s  degree in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in Sports and a Minor in Public Relations from the University of Mississippi. 

Hildebrand has served as PTO President for Woodridge and Howard, sat on the Alamo Heights School Foundation Board for over five years, and has volunteered on several school committees.

Hildebrand and her husband, David, have three children who attend Alamo Heights schools- Jackson a junior, Harty a freshman, and Hudson who is in the 7th grade. 

In her spare time, Hildebrand loves to be at the lake, on a boat fishing with her family, or hunting in the Texas Hill Country. She especially loves supporting her Alamo Heights Mules.

The Hildebrands are members of St. Andrews Methodist Church located in the heart of Alamo Heights.
