Congrats Dr. Jimmie Walker!

Congratulations to Dr. Jimmie Walker!

Dr. Walker, Elementary Academic Dean, was selected as the recipient of the 2016 Carnegie Project of the Education Doctorate (CPED) Dissertation in Practice Award for her work entitled Brain-targeted early childhood beginnings:  A case study in India.

As the award recipient, Dr. Walker has been invited to join the CPED Consortium at the October 2016 Convening at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, where she will be formally presented with the award of $1000 and a plaque.  She has also been invited to prepare a 15-minute presentation of her work to share with the participants.
