Powering the Profile
Kim Brady, math teacher and Student Council Advisor at the Junior School, was recognized for Powering the Profile for embodying the AHISD Profile of a Learner. Visit the AHISD YouTube channel for a video showing how she helps students “communicate and collaborate” as they develop as leaders.

Other Board Action and Presentations
Cory Smith, Alamo Heights High School Principal, and Charlotte Dolat, Academic Dean at AHHS, presented an update on student learning and progress in College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR).
Trustees approved the addition of new college credit courses, College Algebra Math and Fundamentals of Visual Art, for Alamo Heights High School for the 2025-26 school year. The presentation was made by Charlotte Dolat, Academic Dean at Alamo Heights High School.
Dr. Jimmie Walker, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, presented a report on Pillar 3 of the Community Based Accountability System (CBAS) which is focused on student well-being and safety. She shared the results of the Fall Feedback student survey in which students give feedback about their campuses.
Frank Stanage, Assistant Superintendent of Operations, shared a presentation of a Texas School Safety Center Intruder Detection Audit.
Trustees approved a resolution designating Non-Business Days under the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) and a resolution for election of Bexar Appraisal District Board of Directors for 2025. They also approved a resolution allowing AHISD to join the Allied States Cooperative, operated by Education Service Center (ESC) Region 19 in El Paso.
Trustees approved the installation of ballistic film to comply with TEA Safety Requirements. They also approved a bid for the Orem Stadium PA Sound System, awarding it to San Antonio Sound and Light.
Trustees approved the 2024 Tax Roll and the approval of additional bank accounts with Plains Capital Bank to facilitate the timely reconciliation of transactions at the depository.
Trustees approved the 2025-26 tuition rate for $10,600 per student.This is an increase of $300 from the 2024-25 rate to continue to cover rising costs.
Donations were accepted from: Woodridge PTO; Multiple Donors for Athletics; Mule Team; and Alamo Heights HS PTSO. The accepted donations totaled $87,245.17.
Trustees accepted reports from the Goals and Priorities, Building, and Assessment and Long-Range Planning committees; and the District Education Advisory Council.
