Vision 2020

Vision 2020 Graphic

Our AHISD vision and mission have remained the same since the development of our Strategic Plan in 2008. What has changed is the context: technology, the needs of our students, and the expectations of our community. As a result, in 2015, we created a more student-facing version of our initial vision, the Profile of a Learner. Five years later, we revisited our strategic direction, evaluating our current needs within the parameters of our vision and mission. We convened a Discovery Group of over 50 people to help us identify four areas in which we need to place our focus. Those became our AHISD Vision 2020 Strategic Goals.
