Mayor's Fitness Council

Alamo Heights High School student Emily May, a junior, has been awarded $1,500 in seed grant funding from the Mayor's Fitness Council and the Baptist Health Foundation for her Water Bottle Fountain Project.  In addition to providing a new water bottle fountain on campus, Emily will be working on a number of projects to promote health and fitness - presenting a wellness advisory lesson, "Walk with the Principal" event, setting up a promotional bulletin board, etc.  Alamo Heights High School Counselor Magdalena Lopez is serving as her campus mentor.
